Chris Kent
Hailing from Cork in the Republic of Ireland, Chris gave up the day job as an electrician to pursue his calling in comedy. He emerged onto the Irish comedy scene in 2009 after winning the Bulmers Nuttin’ But Funny competition.

In 2010 Chris made his debut at one of Ireland’s biggest comedy festivals in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens.
He quickly established himself on the Irish circuit and was asked to open for some of his favourite acts, including Dylan Moran, David O’ Doherty, PJ Gallagher and Neil Delamare.

Drink offers on the night from hotel management

and…  *fanfare*  There’s a £12 Curry Club.  What do you get for that?

A choice of 3 curries  – served with Pilau Rice, Naan Bread and a small beer or glass of wine.  The Apollo are getting into the spirit of comedy with the following curries –

The mild one (Kenny Everett) ‘It’s all in the best possible taste.’
The hot one (Del Boy) ‘Lovely jubbly’
The hotter one (Catherine Tate) ‘How very dare you!’

There will always be a vegetarian option too.  If you’re a Curry Dodger (hard to resist a poppadom though, isn’t it?) just choose something from the main menu at usual prices.

Comedy Curry Club is usually fuller than a plumber’s tool bag, so it’s best to book.   Contact The Apollo on 01256 796700.
